To us, personal finance is not about calculations and formulas but about lives being lived, emotions and money habits. The same goes for programming - it is not about the tools. The best results come from passion, dedication and intelligence - and natural curiosity.
We've been building a very successful personal finance platform, Spiir, for the last 8 years. Lately, we have carved out some of the main technologies of Spiir and turned them into B2B solutions, allowing companies to build innovative solutions on top of data from Nordic banks. We call this solution Nordic API Gateway.
Nordic API Gateway revolves around providing others access to bank data. When we started up, no public APIs were available in the industry. Thanks to the Connections team, we’ve created access for our customers to more than 350 banks. The team successfully re-implemented more than a handful of industry-wide heavily hardened blackbox security frameworks along with numerous device binding solutions. We have extensive monitoring capabilities and we always strive to be a step ahead of any roadblocks.
The connections team is filled with genius minds, stubbornness, geeks, kindness and Alexes ( 40% of the team members are named Alex). The team is lead by Christian Panton; PhD in Geophysics, ethical hacker and data activist. His efforts in fighting for responsible use of data on citizens resulted in him winning Data Protection Price 2019 (Databeskyttelsesprisen). If you want to learn from the best in the field - learn from him.
The Connections team has been super successful. Now, we don’t just want to be ahead of the curve, we want to surf it! 🌊
