Do you want to help developing a service that promotes sustainability through inclusive e-learning and data? We are a startup who have created an online learning and analytics platform with simple and short guides introducing topics within the field of sustainability, designed to be shared and completed by an entire organisation. Our aim is to create positive impact through inclusion and education of the many rather than the few - we think that sustainability is achieved together!


As an intern at Incept Sustainability, you will be working closely together with our whole team at DTU Skylab - a vibrant and fun startup environment. This role offers the opportunity to explore and apply best practices as well as preferred technologies. You will work together with the developer team leader in a variety of tasks, from CMS management to frontend development.

As we are launching our first online learning guide-package for corporations and are initiating pilot projects with potential customers you will be joining us at a very interesting phase for our startup - we promise you that there is no way you will be bored!


Your area of responsibilities

  • Work closely with the founders

  • Develop new features for the learning and analytics system

  • Maintain code and reach out to the open source community in case of software fixes

  • Contribute to setting the right environment for the development process


Your preferred skills

  • Experience with HMTL, CSS and Javascript languages

  • Experience with REACT

  • Familiarity with PHP

  • Optional: knowledge of Wordpress

  • UI / UX basics, how to create an intuitive user journey.

  • English: professional working proficiency, as this is our primary working language

  • Able to work independently as well as in teams in an innovative environment.

The position is an unpaid internship, ideally, 3 days per week, with flexible start during November.

Incept Sustainability is an online learning and analytics site with simple and short guides introducing topics within the field of sustainability designed to be shared and completed by an entire organisation. All our learning material is interactive and focus on the work of the individual employee, which allows us to collect insights, feedback and ideas from all corners of an organisation. Enabling both bottom op and top down change at the same time. Interested? We are always happy to speak :-) Our team currently consist of four people - we are all students or fully fleshed engineers with a focus on sustainable development, user involvement, teaching or software. Because of our studies we work around 20 hours per week on the startup, we work agilely using elements from the Scrum framework to deliver the new features of our site quicker.We match a social and fun environment with an ambitious work ethic - it is always easier to be productive when you are happy and love what you do!
