SEGEL is a new and innovative bag concept. Our mission is to support sustainable choices and rethink how to carry more on the go all in a hectic everyday life. SEGEL ApS is part of the mother company RUSK ApS, that makes a range of sustainable products for everyday use. We are on a journey to develop different product lines within SEGEL.

As our intern at SEGEL you will become an important member of our small, fun and dedicated team. You will be working within a team of 5 other people, including the co- founders of SEGEL. The team has an international character and is a real team work. By having a high level of communication, the company always works together. We are looking for people that can handle a changing work environment and up for a fast-paced work place. Nothing is impossible, and we aim to grow fast! You will be working within a diverse team of amazing designers, internationally focused sales employees and a cinematographer. We are looking for someone that is fit for fight.

The internship is mainly focussed on designing new SEGEL bags. Since the company is working on their second product line, the team is looking for a passionate, creative and detailed focussed fashion/design student with a specific eye for the best textiles and has the knowledge of designing fashion. 

Tasks:

• Develop ideas and prototypes for a new collection of SEGEL
• Communicate your own experiences with textiles, design and sewing 
• Developing different prototypes of the bags in the design process
• Creating technical drawings of the bag to communicate with the production site
• Trend spotting

Requirements: 

• Flawless in English speaking and writing skills
• Obsessed with style, quality and design
• Relevant experience (we expect you to know how to sew) and fashion related educational background
• Experience with programs such as; illustrator - photoshop 
• Preferably you have designed a fashion related product before
• Preferably an interest in sustainability & a real team player with a good sense of humor :) 
• Availability to work 3 days a week for at least 3 months (preferably longer)
