LVS Brokers is looking for a talented Project Manager to manage the projects within our growing tech team & development operations at our Turku office!

We are looking for someone to work with our talented team to further develop our software product that helps consumers compare financial services through our AI solution called IRMELI. Our brokering platform is used to compare loan services, electricity deals, suitable realtors, mortgages, and insurance services. Our best-known brand in the market is OmaLaina.fi and we are one of the leading fintech companies in Finland, with Financial Times placing us as the 8th fastest-growing fintech company in Europe.

Our development team has engineered our services entirely from scratch, mostly by using PHP and Python languages, while using MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases. We deliver new business to our clients through interfaces (API), so we have integrations to nearly 50 external companies. Artificial Intelligence and engineering have a constantly growing role in our business, helping us find the best solutions for our customers.

What do we hope from you?

As our next project manager, you have experience from leading software development projects and most of all the people in the project team. Understanding the tech stack and development processes is important but leading the people behind the process is the core of this role! Helping the project team, people, and business succeed is what motivates you the most.

As we are a start-up company, we want to operate with a lot of freedom and responsibility. While that sounds very nice, it also means we have built our working environment with a lot of trust and autonomy. We want you to have a lot of new ideas and an attitude to really make an effort to build and improve the project management practices within our development team!

From a technical point of view, it would really be an asset if you have worked within projects utilizing Web applications, esoteric APIs and different types of integrations. Additional benefits are all the knowledge you might have about AI & ML development projects and of course a genuine interest in the field!
