The job

Your job as a backend engineer will be to work with other talented engineers, designers and product managers on building and delivering future versions of Duuoo to an ever increasing base of happy customers.

You'll apply your backend engineering skills in a highly entrepreneurial and product-focused environment with lots opportunities to learn and develop.

In the fall of 2019, the engineering team will start building the next generation technology platform that will power the future of Duuoo. You will join at just the right time to help define and start working on this very exciting project.

Requirements

In short, you are someone that:

• Is motivated by technical challenges and the creative process of crafting great software
• Thrives by being a key player on the technology side
• Enjoy building products that customers love
• Have a hands-on mentality: You code, you can define tasks, schedule deliverables and track the progress against timelines.
• You have an analytical and data-driven approach to decisions.
• You want to grow and develop further in a fast-paced startup environment.

Must haves:

• Minimum 3 years of experience architecting and building APIs using Node.js (ES6).

Nice to have:

• Express, Sequelize, Postgres, Heroku, automated testing, deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
