BalancAir is a medtech and digital health startup that has developed a novel, digital enabled, consumer device, called Rehaler, for treating acute migraine attacks. We have just launched with great success in Denmark, Sweden and Germany and are currently focusing heavily on growing in these markets. We are now looking for high performing, skilled, driven and German-speaking Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) that wants to join our team of experienced entrepreneurs.

We are looking for an exceptional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) that wants to enter our leadership team and take charge of the marketing and growth for our paradigm shifting new migraine treatment product, Rehaler (www.rehaler.de). We are a direct-to-consumer company with a heavy focus on digital marketing and currently selling our product online.

Your main responsibility will be to own the overall marketing strategy, execution and optimization and lead our current 5-man marketing team in hitting our ambitious growth targets.

As an early joiner in the company you will be right in the middle of the action and work closely with design, strategy and engineering to find the optimal solutions for the product and company, as well as design experiment to collect the critical information to make the correct decisions for our marketing and sales efforts.

  What you will be doing: 

• Develop and implement the company’s sales & marketing strategy
• Take the lead in creating, testing and optimizing new online and offline marketing and growth channels and initiatives
• Analyze campaign data, find critical insights and draft recommendations
• Lead qualitative and quantitative customer research & feedback efforts
• Ensure that we have consistency in our external communication across all channels
• Lead a team of 5 marketing, sales and support staff

What you bring:

• Experience in B2C, preferably within healthcare and preferably having successfully, launched new products into new markets
• Expertise in digital marketing (analytics, retargeting, SEM, SEO, PPC marketing, social media, email, etc.) and a passion and drive to constantly know what is hot and not and which new opportunities we could leverage.
• Excellent ability to communicate in German and English both orally and in writing.
• Highly structured, data driven and capable of strategic thinking, with the ability to put it into writing in a well-thought-out plan.
• A hands-on approach – We expect you to solve problems and get things done, no matter the obstacles, both alone but also in collaboration with the rest of the team.
• A deep insight and passion for everything marketing and growth related
• Willingness to learn and teach
• Willingness to relocate to Copenhagen in Denmark
