We are growing! Like really growing… and what was once sufficient now needs to be upgraded. eloomi is a SaaS company building a next-gen employee experience tool connecting learning and people development to gain greater employee output, productivity and motivation. That is where you come into the picture!    

We just turned 4 years old and now we are at a junction, where we need a great combination of brain power and muscle to help us transform our code, infrastructure and product from a startup to a scale-up.

Our growth is backed by over 350 customers around the world. We intend to continue to be the best, even when the market is expanding, and that requires a top tier tech foundation to support and extend an amazing product – so if you are up for the challenge, we hereby invite you along for the ride!

Less is more  

As the product and the customer size grow, scalability becomes ever more important. Right now, we have a Laravel (PHP) monolith backed by MySQL and a bit of Redis. However, that is all gonna change! We are moving into microservices and are currently trying to figure out how to deal with all the complexity that comes with it.

And we also have big plans around machine learning and AI. It is, of course, also a big part of the future plans, maybe not tomorrow, but definitely in the pipeline.

Creating the Competitive Edge   

The core of the competitive edge is not created in Sales (even if they sometimes think so 😁) It is made in the heart of the Tech team! And we take pride in being true tech geeks: Crushing story points as they were M&M’s at game night, deep diving into new technological endeavors, introducing performance enhancements like there is no tomorrow and fighting off the occasional bug with a vengeance.

So who are you?   

We expect you to be a geek like us (!) You do have to know the fundamentals and have been developing professionally for a few years, but if you are a smart person, we’ll get you up to speed on the specifics. Having said that it would be nice if you have experience with one or more of the following technologies:

• PHP / Laravel
• JavaScript / Node
• Azure (or Cloud architecture in general)
• Microservices
• Asynchronous systems
• ETL jobs
• Docker
• Surprise us? (except bugs, we are suckers for surprises)

In addition to your tech skills we are looking for a passionate colleague who wants to be the flag bearer for new technological achievements. We expect you to speak your mind and look forward to discussions on the best way to reach our goals. But don’t worry, you will not be doing this on your own. We are driven by team efforts and have each other’s back. We have an agile mindset and look forward to hearing your suggestions for change!
