Hibox Systems is a Finnish software company that designs and delivers TV solutions for telecom operators, hotels, hospitals and cruise ships. We are 29 people in the company and our revenue in 2018 was 5,1M Euro. At Hibox you can work on interesting international and domestic projects in Digital TV. You can choose to work either in Turku or in Vaasa, where we have offices right in the city centres.

We are looking for a System Administrator that wants to join our team to get into the exciting world of Internet based TV applications for our ever growing list of Hotel customers.

Responsibilities

Providing support on infrastructure, installation, configuration and deployment
Maintaining servers and environments for our Hospitality customers
Software installation for customer projects
Documentation of system & server setups

Qualifications

Experience of Ubuntu operating systems and software such as Java, Tomcat an MySQL
Knowledge of computer networks and network security
A will to learn new technologies quickly and a genuine interest in the field of TV & Internet technologies
Self motivated with the ability to work independently
A degree in Computer Science or similar is a plus, but not required
Excellent speaking and writing abilities in English
