RAND Boats is a newly founded producer of electric motorboats experiencing increasing demand. To help build/improve our presence in both traditional and online media channels a student is needed to support sales and manage all PR and communications related tasks, and help define RAND Boats’ PR and communications strategy going forward.

RAND Boats is a newly founded producer of electric motorboats experiencing increasing demand. To help build/improve our presence in both traditional and online media channels a student is needed to support sales and manage all PR and communications related tasks, and help define RAND Boats’ PR and communications strategy going forward. 

Sales responsibilities 

• Call and email new and existing leads, assisting them carefully through their purchase decisions 
• Assist the RAND Boats sales team in producing offers for their clients 
• Supporting worldwide RAND dealers with sales and marketing material 

Marketing responsibilities 

• Digital Marketing including SoMe, SEO, Adwords, as well as monthly Mailchimp newsletters for customers, dealers and press 
• Write press releases and article proposals for identified media and build media relationships 
• Update and maintain PR database with all internal activity and published articles 
• Plan and execute boat shows, PR events and collaboration events with relevant partners 
• Assist creative team in making content for and update all social media channels 

Qualifications 

• Perfect written and verbal English skills  
• The ability to tell a story and communicate in a persuasive manner – both written and verbally 
• Feeling excited about calling up new customers, dealers and media 
• Perfect written and verbal skills in one additional European language 
• An interest in product design, lifestyle, electric vehicles, sustainability, clean-tech, and/or motorboats 
• The desire to influence an inspiring start-up company, potentially also full-time upon graduation  
• Basic MS Excel, Mailchimp, Hubspot and social media management skills

Interviews are ongoing and the right candidate will be chosen once identified, with a preferable start shortly after. Working hours are 15-20 hours per week or as a full-time intern. Working location is in Nordhavnen.
