Senior Software Developer for Templafy

About the position

We are searching for passionate full-stack developers who can help us lift our already highly skilled development team. You will be a central part of the development of our product and have a say in choosing technologies, tools, and architecture of new product features.

We take pride in creating a quality product, and our code is made via pair-programming and reviewed via pull-request. Even when we are busy, we do not compromise on quality. We are an international company with more than 30 nationalities and offices in Copenhagen, Berlin and New York. Daily communication is through English. You'll be working in our Copenhagen office where we offer a great and supportive work environment with amazing colleagues.

How we work

• Agile: Each team consists of 4-6 developers and work based on a documented Scrum-based process with short feedback cycles. Our sprints last two weeks, and we release software daily in a highly automated process.
• Clean code: We have a written coding standard. We develop more than 60% in pairs. Every change is peer-reviewed. We have a strong application architecture.
• Test focused: We like to test the code we build, and we have a continuous integration infrastructure in place that runs our unit test on every push and notifies the team on Slack if something breaks.  
• Process: We are cloud first, and all parts of our work are managed through Azure DevOps including backlog management, source control, releases, and testing. This enables us to have a strongly distributed team across multiple offices.
• Personal projects: Every sprint we set aside the last two days to work on Templafy related projects of personal interest outside of the Scrum process.
• Tools: We use the best tools available for the job including Visual Studio, Slack, R#, Git, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, and Docker.
• Learning: We believe in lifelong learning and encourage everyone to read books, visit conferences, and take courses. We want to invest in everyone’s future development, and so we make the necessary resources available to support this. From time to time we also host meetups.

Technologies we use

• Backend: .NET, .NET Core, C#, Web API, Entity Framework, VSTO.
• Frontend: React, Redux, TypeScript, Webpack, Less, WPF.
• Hosting: 100% Azure, Web Apps, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Application Insights, Azure Data Lake, Streaming Analytics.
• What you bring in: We are not afraid of new technologies, and are hosting internal tech-sessions to discuss these and how they can make sense in our product.

About you 

You have a broad experience with .NET, C# and Web Development. You are a structured, responsible, open-minded team player who takes initiative.

Your assignments depend on your skills and personal aspirations. Our tasks include everything from the development of our WebApp, integration to external systems, development of our API, development of Windows Apps, integration to Office and Office 365, as well as Deployment and DevOps tasks.
