We are starting up a number of new super exciting projects and need to strengthen our team with a hero that can lead our research and development projects to success. You will work with an international network of experts and develop the smart energy solutions of tomorrow.

What will you do?

You will lead the development of tools for analyzing and optimizing complex energy systems. Today, we are mostly working with district heating systems and their interaction with the electrical grid and demand side management but the scope might be expanded in the near future. Analyzing and breaking down energy systems into model components is a key part of your work and you will design and test modelling solutions that you built in collaboration with a team of system developers. The solutions you design will be used in research project where you collaborate with energy companies and academy. You will also lead the further development of the solutions into user friendly tools that are integrated in our analysis platform.

We are a small and fast growing startup company where a few people fill many roles. You will help us build the company and must be open for participating in activities outside your core competence.

You should have 

• Expertise within energy systems and energy technology
• Experience with modelling and/or optimization
• Basic programming skills
• Good communication skills in English

It’s good if you have

• Experience with district heating
• Experience as project manager
• Experience from GAMS, Julia JuMP, Python PuLP or other similar modelling languages
• Good communication skills in Swedish
