We’re looking for a driven and passionate Backend developer with great collaboration skills, who is result-oriented and proactive. You’ll join a highly-skilled IT team, who work together in an informal, agile and ambitious environment. As our new Part-time Backend Developer, you’ll work on building high-quality, innovative products for our fast-paced technology start-up.

The tools that we work with are Flask, Postgres, Redis and AWS. Here, we’re responsible for our own systems. We give you freedom in the work you do and give you the possibility to learn from our talented Developers to further develop your knowledge and skills. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Responsible for your own tasks 
• Write clean, well tested code to develop our API
• Work closely with our talented Developers
• Have the freedom to explore new technologies and contribute with your theoretical expertise

Requirements

You want to build cool, new features and you’re eager to learn new technologies. Maybe you’re studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Web Development, Software Development, or another relevant field and are eager to use your learning in practice. To us, it is important that you are ambitious, pay attention to detail and love to code. We don’t expect you to have previous working experiences, but we expect that you are eager to develop yourself and learn quickly.

• We think you may also be able to tick some of these boxes; if not we’ll help you get there: 
• Love to tinker with new technologies to move our stack forward 
• Have a curious mind, self-driven and a team player mentality
• Understand the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Have hands on experience with programming languages like Flask, Postgres, Redis and AWS
• Have great collaboration skills and a fast learner

This is a part-time position of minimum 10 hours/week.
