WasteHero is a market leader delivering scalable state-of-the art IoT solutions for smart waste collection, enabling cities, waste operators and collectors to optimize their collection efficiency, leading to cost savings and reduction in CO2 emissions. We're a dynamic team of 7 within sales, marketing and engineering that sets the bar high and not afraid to fail and learn.

One global problem that we are aiming to solve is that at the moment the waste bins in cities are emptied at regular time intervals. This approach is inefficient since it does not rely on knowing when the bins are full. Consequently, the containers are sometimes emptied when they are only half full or overfilled, leading to higher collection costs, increased traffic, and air pollution.

Since our mission is to ensure a more sustainable and connected future, we developed our smart waste collection solution in a way that allows for dynamic waste bin emptying, and that can solve this global problem. The solution consists of a fill level sensor, an online platform for analytics and dynamic route planning and a navigation software for waste collectors. Our solution enables cities and municipalities to increase their recycling efficiency by up to 40%. In the same time, our solution is easy to implement and maintain, have high durability, and affordable price.

Our vision is to become the leading provider for smart waste tech using IoT and AI technologies and as our pilot projects are progressing rapidly together with the increasing number of our partners, we are now looking to expand our team with an enthusiastic SEO intern, who would join our office in the lovely city of Aarhus. situated at Navitas.

We are currently opening for different profiles: 

SEO and online marketing

•  Experience with SEO, blog and content creation;
• Tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console;
• Experience with Google Adwords/writing blog posts
• You are able to identify trends and target groups and create compelling content (in English and Danish);
• Have experience with planning and executing marketing campaigns (from scratch to end);

SoMe/marketing

• Manage our SoMe platforms on LinkedIn and Facebook
• Help us find the right exhibitions and prepare material for them

Design

• Taking input from our UX researcher, sales and marketing team and make great design
• Enhance our existing design portfolio and content such as website, sales material, etc.
