The Regulatory Research Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and improving reports for clients on our information portals. They will also be responsible for researching, monitoring and producing news bulletins detailing the latest regulatory and market developments in the space.
Core tasks
- Conducting stock market due diligence reviews. This will involve examining different aspects of the market including broker rules, listing criteria and clearing and settlement requirements;
- Tracking daily market developments and publishing articles to the websites for client review and marketing purposes, including short selling bans, emergency market closures etc.
- Undertaking ad-hoc regulatory research into the implementation of EU measures in the fund space;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation surrounding UCITS and AIFMD;
- Participating in and on occasion leading staff internal training;
- Undertaking verbal and written communication with regulators;
- Ensuring delivery of excellent customer service, including maintenance of and delivery against the markets’ annual review schedule
- Other - Projects/other work as required

You must have a minimum 2:2 undergraduate qualification in Law, Business, Finance or Economics and be willing to undertake further study as required.
Experience and skills
- Essential: Degree in Law, Business, Finance or Economics, minimum 2:2; proficient in Microsoft Office
- Desirable: Regulatory experience (UCITS/AIFMD/shareholding disclosures); relationship management experience
