HY2GEN AG - SUPPLIER OF „GREEN“ HYDROGEN The company “Hy2gen AG” is a funded start-up aiming to play the leading role in the newly established international market of carbon free green hydrogen. During the first phase of production, Norsk H2 AS (a Hy2gen AG’s subsidiary) will gradually increase its capacity of carbon free green hydrogen per month and reach 1,500 tons per month at its maturity.


What we are looking for:
For our functional unit Business Development & Sales for carbon free Green Hydrogen we are looking for a high-performing Manager Sales & Business Development to support our team in Norway. As a Head of Sales & Business Development you will represent Hy2gen vis-a-vis clients and partners during the complete BD & sales phase. Your role furthermore includes the following points:

  •  Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by listening carefully and understanding their needs
  •  Develop projects together with the client and perform initial feasibility studies and profitability analysis with our team
  • Review and evaluate opportunities and ITBs (Invitation to Bid), identify key success factors, determine the proposal strategy and coordinate all required activities to finally prepare a promising proposal under consideration of client requirements and boundary conditions
  • Check consistency of the cost calculation with the overall proposal, evaluate required contingencies witth the support of our team and propose the final bid price
  • Prepare a contract draft/evaluate the client´s contract draft and negotiate the contract with the client together with the Contract Management               team.

You enjoy selling and developing new businesses have a good technical understanding combined with management skills .

Our requirements are:
    • Bachelor or Master degree
    • Experience in sales management and/or business development in the oil and gas or capital goods industry
    • Knowledge of Scandinavian oil & gas market and contractor environment is highly appreciated
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
    • Fluent in spoken and written English
    • Willingness to do frequent traveling
