Programming experience is beneficial but not necessary as our comprehensive training programming does not assume any prior programming experience. Key Responsibilities:

- Investigation/triage and communication regarding any issues that occur raised by application monitoring or through a client enquiry

- Prioritisation of major issues over other issues raised

- Analysing API calls or application code for minor bugs and reviewing error log files

- Analysis of financial prices/data and reports that is received into the bank platform

- Ability to escalate to other teams and summarise any problems to them

- Assisting Team Lead with any projects that are required in terms of task items/updating monitoring or proactive measures

- Ability to work shifts

The profile of the people we are looking for is:

- Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or any other scientific/engineering discipline

- Ability to learn new programming languages and financial concepts quickly, logical thinkers and problem solvers

- Capable of working both independently and within a team

- Excellent client facing skills

- Prior experience of working in Capital Markets/Investment Banking is a plus but not essential

- Prior experience of working as part of an Application Support Team

- Experience of Linux is desirable but not essential
