At Upbeater, we connect exceptionally skilled and innovative students with projects in need of the students specific skill set. We're now on a journey to expand both our product offers and to new geographical locations. So - we have decided to take a grip on our marketing effort and we are on the lookout for the perfect person/people to join us in this exciting time!

Upbeater is looking for promising marketing stars on the uprise, students/people with a curiosity to figure out what makes the target audience (mainly startups and students) tick, who are creative and confident in learning by doing and trial and error, and who are able to engage people using a limited budget.  

As a marketing/growth hacker intern at Upbeater you'll get to: 

• Create marketing strategies for 3 months, 6 months and 1 year 
• Together with the CEO decide on KPIs and targets
• Execute on the marketing strategy for 3 months, including but not limited to - social media activity, newsletter, campaigns, events (own and participation), prints, presentations, analytics and PR - whatever is agreed on in the marketing strategy 
• Be part of building and growing a brand that is ready to be seen and heard
• Fill a new blank sheet of paper and take ownership of your creations  

 To succeed in the role, we think that you:

• Have studied marketing and communication
• Have an understanding and ability to build communication strategies for different target audiences 
• Have a creative mind that doesn't limit your imagination to what "should be done by the book"
• Like being social and in social context, love meeting new people and create new contacts
• Understand and be passionate about Upbeater's services - enough to brag about your engagement  

It'll be a bonus if you have: 

• Worked in the startup scene and understand the different challenges related to working with limited resources
• Have worked with concept development, PR and positioning to help develop the overall messaging and strengthen our market position 
• Worked on an international project before, or have an interest in understanding different markets

After completion of a successful internship, we'd be happy to welcome you as an Upbeater that we'll keep representing towards new projects. There is also a possibility to continue to build our brand and develop our marketing efforts for the right person.
