The Foodprint Lab is a team of Urban planners and Architects who all burn for one and the same thing; to make an impact that matters for generations to come, by testing new approaches. We are searching for design talents, preferably located in Gothenburg, Sweden and Antwerpen, Belgium, who want to take part in our journey to reach the sustainable goals together with our customers' needs. We can offer internships for newly graduated and 50-100 % employment to an experienced Landscape Architect.

Your mission 

We are looking for talented creative minds with a diverse toolkit and experience in digital and hand-drawn designing. You will work closely in collaboration with the three founders and project leaders which means taking part in meetings with clients and in the profiling of the company and our services, as well as share your knowledge to your team members and in our digital community. You have a passion for sustainability and urban design and an interest in new approaches for neighborhood development and design of public places. We highly value hands-on experience in gardening, construction and building since the design process and guidelines created demand a deep understanding for building. 

You need to: 

• Have a deep understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and AutoCad and other relevant digital design tools; 
• Have hands-on experience in working with wood and small scale prototyping or modelling/place making. 
• Demonstrate a strong sense of typography, iconography, colour theory, and visual composition
• A strong portfolio which demonstrates the above
• You demonstrate the capacity to work well in a team environment and individually with little direction
• You bring a high energy and a positive attitude 
• Good at visual communicating your ideas fast
• You have the ability to read a place and see what is needed to create the right atmosphere. 
• Fluent English

A great plus... 

• Good in writing and experience or interest in blogging/writing articles using Wordpress.
• Experience in working in a non profit organization, start-ups or as an volunteer
• You have a wide knowledge of different plants and which ones are best combined to achieve a great visual experience and natural pest control.
• Special interest or experience in designing playgrounds and other playful designs for parkour or physical play. 
• You have 3+ years’ experience as Landscape architect or Graphic Designer.
• Experience in working with GIS or ArchiCad.
• Knowledge or experience in Urban drainage and Climate adaptation 
• Fluent in Swedish or Dutch

Since our office and most of our clients are situated in the nearby of Gothenburg we prefer to find someone who can join in meetings there and work in close collaboration with our colleagues. However, we are also open for other solutions if the person has high design skills and a personality that fit the group. Your work will partly include travels to different cities in Sweden and Europe.
