Areas of responsibility

As our Event Coordinator, you will be in charge of various tasks within the Event department. You will participate in identifying events and opportunities for Nordic Blockchain Association to participate in, as well as reaching out to potential partners to arrange our own events in cooperation with them. You will also be part in the idea development and concept planning of our future events as well as keeping track of the budget and making sure we are reaching our goals in terms of audience, online and offline materials for the events and other personal that can help on-day. You possess the ability of taking full ownership of your tasks, you have an enthusiastic attitude, and finally you must be result orientated & comfortable with high goals.

Key tasks include

• Plan into detail and execute events, being able to juggle with many things at once
• Coordinate with our design and marketing team regarding the online and offline materials that will be needed for the event
• Budget planning & managing
• Administrative tasks - scheduling, booking meetings, updating the database etc.
• Liaise with suppliers, sponsors and other stakeholders.

Desired characteristics

• Creative & structured problem solver with strong perceptive and intuitive abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
• Strong work ethic with a high degree of self-discipline and a desire to be successful
• Previous experience with events is a plus, but not essential
• Structured, but still understand the organic and ever-changing nature of event coordination
