We're looking for a UI/UX intern to join our dedicated team in Malmö. In this role, you’ll take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use solutions. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final solution exceeds their expectations.

The job of a designer is to envision how people experience our products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired and simple, yet refined. In this role, you’ll take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use solutions.

Achieving this requires collaboration with other Designers, Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them and ensure that the final solution exceeds their expectations.

As a UX Design Intern you will:

  • Be involved in every aspect of the product design and development process: from brainstorming design concepts to tweaking pixels right before launch
  • Design and deliver user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Work closely with user research to discover insights about user behaviors, hypothesize solutions, and validate designs with target users.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to assess feasibility of ideas, partner on user-focused solutions, and implement your designs to spec.
  • Give and solicit feedback from your design peers, in order to continually raise our quality bar.
  • Communicate design strategy and concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Be an advocate for users and quality designs that meet their needs.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have or is studying UI/UX design
  • Have a strong background in fundamental interactive and visual design principles and have an exceptional eye for pixel-perfect detail.
  • Have relevant internship or work experience, or personal project experience outside the classroom in interaction or visual design.
  • Are a creative problem solver with a positive attitude. Can think at all layers of the experience – not just building the UI, but also the high-level product strategy and vision.
  • Have demonstrated experience in creating detailed wireframes for complex user flows, using Sketch, Axure, and/or Adobe CS as your primary tool. Have the ability to prototype in Invision, Principle, Adobe XD, Framer, or any standard design/prototyping tool.
  • Are an excellent communicator and can clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients. Can explain the rationale behind your designs and successfully balance defending your work while still remaining open to feedback.
  • Are a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Possess a design portfolio that demonstrates design principles for web and/or mobile platforms, and a well thought out design process.
