We’re looking for a new chieftain for our tribe of tech startups here at Founders House. Our new go-to-guy or girl will be tasked with leading our community and operations. You’ll also be part of The Creators Community, the leading provider of network and workspaces for entrepreneurial innovators in the Nordics.

This is an incredible opportunity to collaborate with some of Denmark’s most promising young tech companies, and work with founders and employees who invent, evolve and scale new innovative solutions at a grassroots level. You will be servicing 150 innovators in Founders House daily and working closely with a further 350 in Startup Village, across 50 businesses.

Our new general manager will lead a small team of 2-3 people whose ultimate goal is to service the members with everything practical so they can concentrate on building their business. We care about creating a nurturing and inspiring atmosphere to work in, and making Founders House a second home for our members.

Of all the coworking sites in The Creator Community family, Founders House is the most techie, as Founders House only accepts scalable tech startups as members. This has led to a particularly high quality community of people with relatable experiences who can knowledge share and help each other boost growth. Your understanding of the tech startup world is instrumental in understanding how to facilitate this growth acceleration.

The general manager will be registered as the company director and be responsible for an independent, small business with a respectable annual turnover. You will also gain invaluable experience within general management and be part of The Creators Community’s Group management team.

Your role

• First and foremost, ensure a thriving community for our founders.
• Be the go-to-person for your small team. You are first-among-equals and deliver great results through focus and motivation.
• You have the overall financial, managerial and administrative responsibility. 
• With a commercial mindset, you will have constant focus on growth, service and improvement.
• Incorporating processes and products from Group level.
• You report directly to the Group CEO of The Creators Community.

About you

• We’d love it if you’re a founder or have a deep understanding of a founder’s journey. 
• You’ve managed a team before and you think it’s fun. 
• You have deep self insight, a contagious drive and your good mood is infectious.
• You have a head for numbers and really love making good deals. Yes, we know you’re out there.
• English is our corporate language. It would also be really helpful if you understand Danish and other Scandinavian languages.
• You have no problems being hands on. You’d rather get stuff done than wait for someone else to do it.
• Giving excellent service and doing something for others makes you happy? Hell, yeah!
• You’re not afraid to admit your mistakes and you know when to praise your colleagues.
