Your data analyses give us valuable insights
We are now looking for a data scientist to join our passionate team. Here, you will work closely together with colleagues within marketing, UX, front end and back end development – some of them based in Copenhagen, others at various international destinations.
In your role, you will:
- Deliver data driven insights to shape our offering, marketing and strategy going forward
- Design, conduct and lead customer experiments for various digital channels in collaboration with the team (with responsibility for the overall design and validity of the experiment)
- Work closely with the product, UEX, marketing and customer service teams to quickly drive results and learnings to product/service, marketing and operations via experimentation
- Analyze data from different channels and campaigns to optimize the marketing and conversion in close cooperation with the CMO.
- Data processing, analysis and presentation
- GDPR compliance for experiments
- Bonus: Machine learning on customer behaviour and business related matters (or strong motivation to learn through online courses)
We expect and appreciate you to have:
- Strong mathematical / statistical knowledge
- You can use code to process data (Python, Matlab, R and similar) or you are eager to learn enough to be proficient
- You know how to query a database (so it’s easy to learn a new query language if needed)
- "Scientific” mindset: Structured, precise, analytical ++
- You are comfortable with change and see the value of rapid prototyping (you know, since every startup is essentially a prototype)
- Can think creatively around data to find new insights
- You are hands-on and like to try out new tools, models or methods
- Interested in digital services and technology
- Bonus: You know machine learning at a practical level (knowledge on different strategies / branches and how to use them)
- Capability to work cross-functionally and internationally in a fast changing environment
- A positive can-do attitude
- Background in engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics or physics
- Excellent problem solving capabilities
