2021.AI is an advanced technology company delivering the next generation technology, AI, and Machine Learning algorithms to a range of different organizations. Our mission is to ensure that every organization can apply AI technology to continuously extract new insights and value from data.

This is a part-time, paid position aimed at students who are at the Master’s or Ph.D. level. We have a quickly growing Data Science team based out of Copenhagen that we are looking to continue to build. Tasks are various, but all arise from the concept of adding clear and measurable value to organizations through Data Science and Machine Learning. 

As a Student Data Scientist at 2021.AI, you will play a central role in producing actionable insights for our clients, acting as an important partner for different business and operational functions within their organizations. 

Your role will encompass: 

• Produce insights and actions and embed these in the design of customer interactions and other elements of our client’s business
• Enhance the quality and impact of models produced by the team
• Continuously develop your own competences as part of a team building a world-class Data Science organization within 2021.AI

You will be reporting to the Head of Data Science at 2021.AI

Skills & Experience:

• The ideal candidate is currently pursuing their MSc or Ph.D. in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Decision Science, Economics or related fields
• Previous experience through internships or student jobs
• Experience in scripting/programming languages (Python, R, Scala, Java, etc.)
• Good data manipulation skills required including cleaning and managing data
• Familiarity and experience with Machine Learning concepts
• Experience with data visualization tools and packages is a plus
• Experience with statistics/Machine Learning packages such as Spark MLLib, Python (Scikit-learn, pandas), etc. is a plus
• Self-starter and results oriented
