Are you an experienced Lead Developer with an interest in translating business goals into a long-term development strategy? Do you take pride in developing high-quality code and mentoring other developers to achieve the same level? Do you have the ambition to work towards becoming our CTO?

Truelinked is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a Senior Lead Developer to join our team. As we are a relatively new startup you would get to work directly where the decisions are made and take on a variety of responsibilities. Does that sound like you?  

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Be the technical leader, our in-house specialist.
• Find viable solutions for our future development strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of the product and business goals, which you will translate into tech.
• Architect, design, develop, deploy and operate services that serve thousands of users.
• Coordinate technical implementation of the product roadmap.
• Facilitate collaboration between developers, product owner, UX designer, and business owners.
• Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy in your domain of expertise.
• Mentor other developers.
• Drive and teach good engineering practices within your team.
• Keep evolving professionally as a senior developer, and have the ambition to become the company's CTO.

Requirements

WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO:

• Have solid experience working with all or most of the following: AngularJS, NodeJS, MySQL, Redis, Apache Solr.
• Have proven experience as a technical leader for a team or department.
• Have extensive experience working hands-on as a Software Engineer in an agile environment.
• Have experience in mentoring and supporting your peers.
• Have a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms and understand how to apply them to design pragmatic solutions.
• Care about quality and know what it means to ship high-quality code.
• Be able to identify, debug and resolve complex production issues.
• Be honest about gaps in your knowledge and be a zestful problem-solver.

The direction we are moving in means you should expect to work with: Data mining and analytics, Machine Learning for match and search suggestions,  Ranking and scoring optimisation, Responsive frontend, Data management and GDPR Compliance.

Truelinked is a professional career network for classical artists (musicians, opera singers, stage directors etc.) and arts organisations. Our goal is to create a forum in which artists and producers can find each other, resulting in career chances for artists based on ability and talent, while providing easier and broader talent spotting for presenters. We are doing this by utilising new technologies in ways not seen in the industry before.
