We are looking for a full-time Sales Director on our journey building the future of work. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for establishing, building and managing Graphiq’s sales strategy and long-term company goals to accelerate growth.'


Position Description - Why We Are Hiring

Graphiq was founded two years ago and has so far built the largest collective of hand-picked freelance designers in Norway with a growing client list. Together with financial support from prominent private investors we are ready to scale in Norway and then internationally, but we need you to join us.

We are looking for a full-time Sales Director on our journey building the future of work. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for establishing, building and managing Graphiq’s sales strategy and long-term company goals to accelerate growth. You will build and lead the sales team to target, develop, and close high-value clients across Norway and later internationally. 

The first year you will contribute and grow the company’s revenue with $10M+. You will work with some of Norway’s largest companies, helping them leverage Graphiq’s platform to create better products, services and brands. 

To succeed you need to be an exceptionally creative and organised salesperson, as well as an excellent leader and critical thinker. You will work with the executive team to set Graphiq’s long-term sales strategy and guide the company’s sales trajectory to a new high.

 

Responsibilities - What You’ll Do

  • Implement necessary sales software.
  • Function as both a “player” and a “coach”, spending time both closing clients on the front lines and guiding the future sales team’s development.
  • Optimize and evolve sales processes through data-driven, results-oriented evaluation and experimentation.
  • Define target customer groups and prioritization criteria, and develop strategic enterprise sales playbooks tailored to each customer segment.
  • Develop and execute a plan for scaling the team structure and goals, as well as take part in interviewing and hiring plans needed to achieve these goals.
  • Develop pricing strategies in close collaboration with the executive team.
  • Be the sensor of the company identifying new market opportunities.

 

The Plan - What You’ll Do After Joining

First week

  • Onboard and integrate into Graphiq
  • Learn Graphiq’s business model, brand purpose and story

 

First month

  • Start developing leads and meet clients
  • Set the sales strategy and roadmap for Graphiq moving forward

 

First 3 months

  • Implement sales software and determine the KPIs
  • Develop sales material, lead developing and closing clients

 

First 6 months

  • Execute on your sales strategy

 

First 12 months

  • Plan, attract and build a sales team to execute on your strategy
  • Refine sales strategy to enter new markets and expand service offering

 

Requirements - What We Are Looking For

  • A team player who contributes positively to a growing team, have a positive mind set and have strong collaboration skills.
  • 2 years+ experience within the B2B sales field, preferably with SaaS or Marketplaces.
  • The skill and motivation to formulate and shape a startup’s sales strategy and prioritize accordingly.
  • The skill and motivation to negotiate and close new clients.
  • Successful track record working with B2B sales.
  • Sales technology stack understanding. You can figure out which sales technologies are most fundamental to achieve the sales strategy and how to use them.
  • Experience developing, building and optimizing sales funnels and processes.
  • International experience or mindset. We are building an international company.
  • A relationship builder, both with clients and new hires.
  • You have the experience or the motivation to recruit, build and lead a sales team.
  • You must have strong written and oral communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to develop your skills.

 

Bonus points

  • Knowledge within the PR, marketing, design or consultancy industry in Norway.
  • The ability to create visually appealing presentations and sales material.
