MATCHATERIA is a Start-Up from Odense that has the mission to become Denmark´s biggest house of Matcha products. Matcha is a green tea from Japan that has been consumed for centuries in the Far East. Today, its popularity is growing rapidly all over the world due to its numerous health benefits.

The position we can currently offer is an 8 weeks unpaid internship with a work load of around 20 hours per week.

About the job

We just received a new shipment of high quality products which want to enter the organic food market. We are currently focusing on direct B2C sales and we need a helping hand for developing and implementing a solid B2B strategy for Denmark. We imagine our Matcha products to be put in tea shops, coffee places, vegan restaurants, Sushi bars or beauty shops.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing a Business to Business sales strategy for fast-moving consumer goods
• Finding, Identifying and Contacting potential local and national-wide B2B customers
• Managing customer relationships and contracting
• Advising us with regard to Sales materials, packaging and so on
• Helping us with the presentation at events such as tea tastings
• Finding and approaching online sources such as lifestyle blogs, tea blogs or similar

Who we are looking for

We need a person who:

• Has experience with Sales
• Knows about B2B Contracting in the food market
• Has strong communication skills in Danish & English (For now, our target country is merely Denmark)
• Likes international Start-Up environments and self-driven work approaches
• Likes independency and responsibility
• Is not scared of making cold calls or knocking on strange doors with a passion for Sales
