reMarkable is a Norwegian tech startup working towards making people smarter and more creative by changing the way we use paper. Our first product is a paper tablet, the world’s fastest of its kind, bridging the gap between the traditional paper experience and our modern, digital workflow. The key to the success of our product is the writing and drawing experience. We have spent the last three and a half years researching and developing hardware and software optimized for our digital paper, and now we are looking for a person to take lead on this process. We’re looking for a professional with:

What will you be doing;

• Develop critical, uniquely complex software for a one-of-a-kind device
• Combine mathematics, statistics and software engineering to create groundbreaking technology
• Influence a product to be used by people all over the world

Requirements:

• Broad experience with software performance optimization
• Experience with implementation of complex and mathematical algorithms in C++. Eigen experience is a plus.
• Solid mathematical and statistical understanding
• At least three years of higher education and two years of developer experience
• Experience with Linux and/or embedded development is a plus
• Data driven curiosity
• Proof of Norwegian proficiency
