eSmart Systems has over the last couple of years gained a reputation as one most exciting tech-companies in Norway. We develop breakthrough applications within energy, smart cities and welfare by combining Big Data, social media, cloud based services and mobile technologies. Our solutions are based on the latest technology in the Microsoft Azure platform and are designed to provide real-time data used to answer questions like; How will the air quality in Oslo be next week? What’s your utility bill going to look like next month? How can municipalities handle peak loads in the energy grid without investing in new power lines?
We continue to grow both nationally and internationally, and are therefore expanding our skillful development team with two senior software developers that wish to work with development of socially beneficial, exciting next-generation software solutions based on the latest technology from Microsoft.
What will you do as senior software developer at eSmart Systems?
- We work with technologies that others just talk about, but are common everyday subjects for us, like artificial intelligence, deep learning, Big Data, IoT, Cortana, Azure, Xamarin app development, Visual Studio, Hololens, drones and more. We are known as one the leading Azure based service providers in Norway, and you will work on this platform.
- As a developer you will be part of a team developing microservices architecture on Service Fabric, and you will work in the intersection between product, data science and data engineering.
- You will work with data storage technology from Azure, Big Data and IoT by building business solutions on top of machine learning and artificial intelligence, all as part of a SaaS platform.
- You will develop sustainable solutions for energy grids, buildings and smart cities, and welfare solutions you can relate to.
- You will be influencing our future solutions.

What are we looking for?
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree within IT (extensive experience / skills will be considered as sufficient)
- The ability to communicate fluently in English, and preferably also a Scandinavian language.
- A keen interest in, and talent for software development.
- Someone who is comfortable with responsibility, team work and independent work, are creative, has a high workload capacity and like to get things done.
- Someone who learns fast, enjoy learning and is passionate about new technologies
