Otovo is a venture backed startup intent on simplifying the transition from energy-draining, stupid individual homes to solar powered, smarter and interacting communities. We build software that helps people decide on going solar and we run a network of installers that make it happen in the real world. In addition we connect the solar powered homes with the grid and operate a power company that sells clean and local power. We will add capabilities and products as we move forward. We were founded in 2016 and recently completed our series A funding (€6m). We have launched products, attracted customers and have a pretty steep revenue curve. Otovo will be taking risks, which also means there is ample opportunity to be part of the fun and influence outcomes substantially. It’s cool to get in early.

About you
As Head of Sales, you will head our consumer sales consultant team, tasked with selling rooftop solar and battery solutions to home owners in Norway. Our sales team consists of 4-5 sales consultants who work with incoming interests on phone and online. You will be expected to motivate, set sales goals, plan sales activities and develop sales procedures. As opportunities arise you will tap them to create business with outbound sales. You are high on energy and creativity and have proven sales results before in related fields (electricity sales, media sales, telco sales, consumer electronics etc). You have a business, marketing or sales educational background. The head of sales will report to Otovo’s CEO, Andreas Thorsheim.
