Porterbuddy.com (Porter AS) is an innovative technology and logistics platform provider that caters for last-mile package distribution and return services in urban areas for e-commerce businesses and consumers. The platform is based on modern technology and is designed to be highly scalable and capable of managing high volumes and real-time deliveries in an optimized and automated way.

As our Full-Stack Developer you will drive product development and programming of the Porterbuddy software platform, key algorithms and hardware solutions. In addition to logistics optimization, system development and –integration (e-commerce and transportation side respectively), you will have the opportunity to work with data collection, data analytics and forecasting. 

Who you are

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experienced in whole or key parts of our software stack: Amazon Web Services, Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS/Javascript, PostgreSQL and Redi
• Experience from Python and Java or similar framework is OK as long as you are willing to learn Ruby on Rails
• Knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services (or similar on-demand cloud computing platforms) and docker containers is a pre-requisite
• Demonstrates excellence solving complex problems
• Have experience building, operating and scaling cloud-based platforms (DevOps)
• Self-driven and motivated
• Structured, but thriving in a dynamic and constructive chaos
• Fluency in English (required) and Norwegian (preferred)
