Role

Airtame is seeking a talented Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to join our Firmware Engineering team. This team is primarily responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the Linux software stack that runs on our Airtame device, both in kernel space and user space. Our ideal candidate is passionate about developing low-level software which runs under CPU, memory and time constraints, wireless networking and requires significant focus on performance, concurrency, and resource lifecycles.

Requirements

• Experience developing highly performant software in C or C++
• Experience developing for embedded Linux systems
• Experience developing Linux Kernel drivers
  
• Experience with scripting languages
  
• Experience with bootloaders
  
• Experience with network protocols and security
  
• Excellent English communication skills
  

Bonus Points

• Experience with WiFi networks and drivers
• Experience with GPU and video drivers
• Contributions to open source projects
