Co-found a startup on its mission to combine gaming and education in a new way! We can combine any game with any kind of learning content. Ultimately, we seek to become a unique link between game- and education publishers, which provides extraordinary value to both parties. Our first game is called Robot Laser Tag, where students learn math through a non-violent multiplayer first person shooter. To develop your player you need to study math!
We are: a small, ambitious and young team on the quest to make the world’s most exciting educational games. In EduMode we develop an educational mode with which we can combine any game with any kind of learning content. We are in the business to go far beyond the typical point-and-click games.
We have developed a game that draws on the excitement and experience of mainstream gaming: Robot Laser Tag is a multiplayer, first person shooter game where the students play against each other while learning math. Put an effort in math and be rewarded with new weapons and more ammunition. Don’t, and your classmates will kick your ass!
Oh wait, the Danish school system isn’t sexy enough for a startup? You need not worry! Our ambition is to launch the product internationally in 2017 – while at the same time working towards landing an initial funding in the first half of 2017 to secure the team’s salary and further development.
What to expect: You will be joining as a co-founder in a startup early in the process and with a founding team currently consisting of a CEO and CTO with backgrounds in business administration and interaction design programming respectively.
We all put in as many hours as we can (close to full time) and expect you to be able to put in at least 25 hours/week - we can appreciate that as long as the position is unpaid, you might need to make a living on a side-job or as a student.
All founding members will initially go without pay but in return get an equity stake of the business. This will only be until the initial funding is obtained.
