The Startup Lab first opened in 2012. Now they house more than 70 of Norway’s technology startups. They have around 200 entrepreneurs, including people from leading technology companies and first timers.

How much do they invest?

If you join The Startup Lab, they help you with adviser services and link you up through their local and global network. Recruitment is also something they can help you with. They provide affordable and flexible office with a startup environment. In addition to this, they have created the Founders Fund to accelerate your idea. This normally means capital investments of $100.000 to $300.000 with 5-15% of the equity.

How do they work?

They thoroughly screen all applicants and look through your idea. As a first step, you fill out an application form (http://startuplab.no/apply/). Includes explaining your idea and how it will reach your goal. They are also interested in getting to know you, the person behind the idea, and why you want to join the Startup Lab.
