More about Spinno Enterprise Center

Spinno’s program is for knowledge or technology based startups aiming for rapid growth and international success. They help startups in the Helsinki region.

Experience

Spinno has been supporting high-tech entrepreneurship with development programs since the opening of Innopoli in 1991. From 2010, it has been hosted by Laurea University of Applied Sciences providing a shared innovation platform for the Helsinki Region.

How much do they invest?

Spinno has two programs: Kick-Off and Grow. They both provide about 4-6 hours or hands-on support per month.

Kick-Off is a pre-incubation program that helps develop your company’s business idea and to create or develop a business plan. You have not necessarily started a company, as it can be established during the program.  You will also get assistance in planning finance, hands on training, and participation in networking events. The length of the program is 2-3 months and the cost is €100 pr. month.

After finishing the Kick-Off program you can continue in the Grow program. This program provides sparring sessions and a continuous follow up and advising. The aim to prepare for the next phase of funding. You are normally in the program from 6-12 months and the price is €300 pr. quarter.

How do they work?

Constant intake of new clients throughout the year. Call, email or fill out the contact form. You can tell Spinno about your business idea, status and what needs you have. Based on this information they will invite you for a meeting to discuss and see if you fit the program. No need for written applications, but a pitch deck can be helpful. Your attitude makes a difference to them.

This makes a difference to them

They have high expectations to the entrepreneur’s or startup’s commitment to the program. You need to show drive and want to work hard to make your idea to succeed.
