Progressus is a private equity investor providing capital and competence to growth companies in the oil and gas and technology sectors. We acquire controlling positions in businesses, and work closely with management teams to assist in expanding the businesses and driving growth plans.


Experience

Progressus has completed 20 acquisitions through 4 growth platform investments, from which one platform has been sold, returning 3,3x (TMB) and 49% IRR. Progressus is a full member of the Norwegian Venture Capital Association (NVCA), and has adopted the NVCA Ethical Guidelines.

The Progressus partner team consists of seasoned executives who have experience from building successful businesses with international footprint. Combined the partners offer over 40 years of industry experience and 15 years of private equity work.
 

Rune Jensen, Managing Partner

Rune Jensen was Managing Director of Allianse ASA from 1999 to 2006. In this period Allianse ASA developed from being a local IT provider, owned by the local authorities, to become a publicly listed, leading player in the domestic market. The Allianse corporation grew from a value about MNOK 200 in 1999 to MNOK 1.200 in 2006. Prior to Allianse, Rune Jensen has extensive experience from managerial positions in Norway and abroad in the fields of oil/gas, finance, international publishing and IT. He has worked with growth and turnaround processes throughout his career. He has an advanced business administration degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen.

Per Arne Jensen, Partner

Per Arne Jensen was Managing Director of Figgjo AS, a well known porcelain manufacturer, from 1999-2006. In Figgjo AS he worked with strategy and business development with emphasis on marketing, distribution, production efficiency and design. Per Arne Jensen was formerly Deputy Managing Director of the IT Company Computer Advances Group ASA (CAG) and there worked with strategy, acquisitions, the initial public offering and investor relations. He has an advanced business administration degree with finance and strategy from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen, and an advanced engineering degree in IT/software development from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. Per Arne Jensen has been Chairman and board member in several industrial companies, the Norwegian Design Council and the Norwegian Centre for Design & Architecture.
