The company was established in 2002 and has a team of 6 experienced professionals. In May 2009 Procom Venture AS took over as manager for SåkorninVest AS and SåkorninVest II AS. SåkorninVest II AS has a capital base of 340 million NOK.

They use their own model to develop startups that they call the “Speed Seed” model. This model shows that Procom Venture helps projects from R&D institutions with commercialization expertise and finding further internal and external financing.
