Petteri Koponen

I'm a co-founder of Lifeline Ventures, an 10 year-old early-stage VC firm based in Helsinki, Finland. We invest in the strongest teams and work intensively with them, often through their whole journey. I consider myself lucky for being one of the first investors and board member or chair of several awesome companies, such as Supercell, Applifier/Unity, Smartly, Varjo and Wolt. I've also enjoyed the rough rides with the companies that have gone bankrupt.

More about Petteri Koponen

Before becoming an investor, I founded four mobile and/or Internet -related software and/or service companies, last of them being Jaiku (co-founded with Jyri Engeström). On October 9, 2007 Jaiku was acquired by Google. I ended up working in Google's Mobile and New Business Development teams in Mountain View and London.

My first company, First Hop, was acquired by Airwide Solutions on January 2008. The other companies I've founded are still alive and kicking.
