More about OpenOcean

They look for disruptive software companies that are ready to grow. Your company should also have large user bases.

OpenOcean is a Finish Venture Capital company from 2008. They invest across Europe, mostly in Series A. OpenOcean is made up by entrepreneurs and they invest in entrepreneurs. They have offices in Helsinki, Stockholm and London.

How much do they invest?

OpenOcean can invest up to € 2,5 million in the first round. The best companies get investments up to five times. Their current fund, New Fund, consists of € 100 million. OpenOcean work together with their portfolio companies for the entire journey.

How do they work?

OpenOcean encourage you to send them your pitch deck and tell them why they should invest in your company.

This makes a difference to them

They are interested in investing, when your company is ready to grow. You should have a prototype and launched your product shaped by the first feedback from your costumers. You will need to make sure that the market demand can support your pricing and that the financials of your business make sense. OpenOcean see that using SaaS, crowdsourcing or open source often delivers better products, faster scaling and more sustainable businesses - so being a part of this is a plus.
