The program is designed for exceptional Norwegian Startups. The program only accepts technology companies or companies with a significant technology component. They look for companies best able to take full advantage of the New York City opportunity as a starting point to successfully enter the American market with their product, service or application.

NNYA was created in collaboration between Innovation Norway and Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA). ERA is an early-stage investment fund and technology accelerator based in New York City. They have made 127+ investments since 2011. ERA portfolio companies have raised more than $220M and are worth more than $1B.

How much do they invest?

The selected companies attend an intense 3-month accelerator program at ERA in NYC, with industry-leading mentors and landing services, followed by investor presentations at Demo Days in New York and in Norway. The program features intense one-on-one mentoring sessions by industry-leading mentors as well as workshops, speakers sessions, and office hours by ERA partners and sponsors such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, Cisco, Panasonic, etc.

How do they work?

The program runs twice per year, winter and summer. You apply for the program using their online application form. Here you will be asked to submit practical information about you and your startup, describe your company and state why you are a good fit for the New York Program.
