LEAD is a business incubator that accelerates start-up development by offering entrepreneurs resources for stable and faster growth. LEAD has no specific focus regarding industry but offers the support with business development for companies that are innovative, scalable and have a well-complemented team. As a member at LEAD, you get access to coaching, a big network, help with PR, and advice on how to find funding.
The team members of LEAD have years of experience in roles ranging from Head of Operations, Consultants, Business Development and Marketers. The team members are experts in their core areas, and they are very transparent in what they do.
LEAD does not offer funding, but a membership with access to all processes and services, including a network with investors.
The first meeting includes a physical meeting with the team, hearing about their idea and how they see the company in the future. They base the decision on scalability, the team and what ambitions they have. When given a membership, entrepreneurs get help with validation, strategy and ensuring the company has what it needs for growth.
The product must be unique, provide value on the market, be scalable and the team members must be driven and passionate about their idea. With those qualities, LEAD has the possibility to help entrepreneurs with their knowledge of building a business. LEAD wants to build an infrastructure for companies to grow, and they want to be engaged in the process to do so. They are driven by their values: engagement, results, focus and respect. They are prestigeless, and want to attract creative, driven individuals with the willpower to build a company. LEADs vision is to provide value to the companies.
To get accepted to LEAD, they need to know who your customers are, how big the market is and if it is a product someone will pay for. The value needs to be clear, and the market potential as well. If these requirements are met, you will get help to make a good pitch. They know that some entrepreneurs are driven but lack the know-how to make a good pitch. They do not care about pitching; they put more emphasis on the team and the product. The pitch comes later.
