Ketil has founded 3 advisory/PE firms in the US/Europe and participated in the founding and development of two M&A networks (IMAP / M&A Worldwide). He was the founder and Chairman of Rokade, a leading mergers & acquisitions and post-merger integration firm in Norway up until 2012 (when aquired by KPMG). During 2012-13 he served as an Executive Advisor in KPMG M&A/Corporate Finance. From 2013 until August of 2015 he served as Head of M&A Service Lines in Deloitte, Norway. He now works independenty as a corporate advisor and board director.

From 2008-12 Ketil was the chairman of IMAP's Energy Industry Group (Oil & Gas; Renewable Energy), coordinating best practice among 35+ member firms worldwide.

Ketil has worked internationally for 30+ years in the US, Canada, Europe and Scandinavia. Previous employers include McKinsey & Co.; Arthur Andersen & Co./Accenture; and several own start-ups.

Prior to founding Rokade, Ketil did 7 years of turn-around management in industries incl. defense, aerospace, pulp & paper, furniture, electronics, FMCG, marine electronics, and ICT.

Ketil holds a MSc Eng. degree in physics / software engineering from NTNU (Norway), and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business (California).
