I am currently helping Nordic tech companies to enter the global markets. As of December 2015, we launched a new seed-phase VC fund investing in b-to-b start-ups in Finland and nearby areas. Before I have been involved with several high-growth, VC -funded startups aiming for global markets. Companies include Supponor, Eniram, HyperIn, Upstream Engineering and Epicrystals. Total capitalization of the companies exceeds 20 M€. Previously I also spent 4 years as an early-stage VC trying to learn the tricks of the investment and business development game. And I did learn... the hard way. Also the entrepreneurial side of things. Also with a couple of other accelerator programs such as vertical.vc and Startup Wise Guys. I have also advised several governments on how to create high-growth ecosystems. I love customer contact and sales. I have been selling something to someone in 45 countries and learned that cultural differences are huge. A fact often neglected in the tech company scene.
