Ipark Incubator primarily focuses on the following fields; Energy, ICT, health and social benefit technology, food & nature and culture design & communication. They invest in the earliest stages of your business. Their main office is in Stavanger, but they have local offices for Dalane, Haugesundregionen, and Jæren.
Ipark Incubator has through 15 years helped more than 150 ideas to become businesses. Every business field has a contact person with a specialization within the field and an associated network. They also work closely together with the research environment and businesses in the region.
Ipark invest around 3-6 million NOK every year into the incubator businesses. They normally take an active ownership in your business from the early phase, so they can contribute with knowledge, a large network and with collecting capital. They offer office space, workshops and a social arena with many startup businesses. In addition to this, they also have an entrepreneur trainee program.
Every year they receive closer to 200 ideas. About 20 to 25 out of the most innovative ideas and the ones that have the most growth potential are taken into the incubator.
The most innovative ideas are the ones that make it through. They look for ideas that can give solutions to a problem, a disruptive idea, or something that can make the future easier and better. Talk to the people that can have use of your product or service. Convey to Ipark that there is a market for your idea.
