Inven2 works actively with discovering ideas at Oslo University Hospital and the University of Oslo and help commercialize these. They mostly work within the field of medical treatment, research tools, biotechnology, med tech, ICT and clean tech. Established companies have received more than 650 million NOK in private capital.

Experience

Inven2 was founded in 2010 and contribute to innovation in Norway by commercializing life science research. They receive around 200 projects every year and follow through with commercializing about 30 of these.

How much do they invest?

Inven2 will help with the marked analysis and verification of the technology. They also help with capital applications to possible contributor, like for example the Norwegian Research Councils FORNY program. They follow the startups closely and help them reach independence.

How do they work?

When you send your idea to Inven2 it will be carefully assessed on the basis of technological requirements. It is considered whether the intellectual rights can be protected and whether it has commercial potential. If your idea passes this test a project is created and resources are assigned. The assessment will be done in collaboration with you. You will receive our evaluation within 2 months.
