More about InnoBooster

The fund is willing to invest in early-stage projects. Both InnoBooster and Entrepreneurial Pilot are programs designed to help small enterprises and entrepreneurial students develop their ideas. The focus of the fund is broad and includes all fields of business.

InnoBooster does not give funding to companies on the verge of bankruptcy or if 10% or more of the company is owned by the government. The aim of your company has to be commercial and you should already have a fixed development plan.

Experience

The Entrepreneurial Pilot and the InnoBooster-program were created in 2014 as part of a new focus on small and medium-sized companies. The expert panel of InnoBooster is a broad roster of prominent entrepreneurs.

How much do they invest?

The InnoBooster program invests between DKK 50.000 and DKK 5 million. The program can finance up to 33% of a single project. All applications requiring more than this amount are automatically declined.

In 2015, Innovation Fund Denmark was allocated DKK 1,6 billion in total.

How do they work?

All applications to Innovation Fund Denmark go through e-grant.dk.

Applications for less than DKK 500.000 can be directly provided with a grant. If you apply for more than DKK 500.000, you will be invited to present your pitch in front of an expert panel. Innovation Fund Denmark aims to evaluate all applications within a month.

Be sure to include a technical description of your company. You can find the form here.

This makes a difference to them

It is important that you are able to follow up on the investment. Your yearly revenue should be minimum DKK 2 million or you should have attracted DKK 500,000 in external capital. Companies. three years or younger, can emphasize relevant strengths of the team or point to earlier achievements.

A good pitch for them

Your pitch should focus on how your project differentiates itself from competing products and services. As demands vary in relation to the size of the requested investment, be sure to set an amount in accordance with the project’s potential.
