Salten focuses mostly on early stage businesses, but also offers help for companies in later phases. They do not have a business genre in particular, but help companies in the region.
Inkubator Salten exists to help out entrepreneurs in the area of Bodø from start to finish. They started out in 2011 and have helped more than 25 businesses grow.
Inkubator Salten will provide advising, knowledge, network and office space. If you make a partnership with Salten they will be your partners for all the different stages. The pre-incubator stage will normally last 6 months. This is where you get in touch with the market and create a plan for the next phase. The incubator phase can take a few years and includes getting financial support, developing and launching your product or service. The third and final phase is the growth phase, this is where your organization can give steady sales and keep growing, and where the incubator leaves you.
It’s a low threshold to contact them if you have any questions.
They want to help you and your idea to succeed, so it’s your motivation and drive that makes the difference. Make a description of your idea and find out if there is any competition in the market? If so, how does your product differ from what already exists? Who is your product for? These are some of the questions you should have done research on.
