More about INCENSe

Empowering European entrepreneurs to make smarter energy and cleantech solutions available on the market. Your business idea should be scalable and profitable.

INCENSe (INternet Cleantech ENablers Spark project) pulls on the shared knowledge of the European FIWARE community, a network based on sharing royalty-free, digital tools, and thus supporting startups. The EU Commision is a facilitator of FIWARE activities and has funded the Incense accelerator, which has EUR 6,2 million in total investment capital.

How much do they invest?

Up to EUR 150.000 in funding for each startup and the possibility to participate in a 6 months acceleration program.

How do they work?

Send your application through FundingBox.

If it is deemed interesting enough, you will be invited to a pitch event with the other finalists. The first EUR 25.000 will be granted when you start the program. The rest will come, as you proceed.

This makes a difference to them

Your company's strategic fit into the energy sector, the quality of your team and your business potential is taken into consideration.
You cannot be double funded. For example, you cannot participate in an acceleration program at INCENSe and Accelerace at the same time.

A complete list of the specific requirements can be found here.

A good pitch for them

Explain how your idea or product is unique and what problem it seeks to solve. Also explain why you have the team that can ensure the product will hit the market some day. Don’t forget to mention how your business is scalable.

Startups they funded

Midori, Leapcraft, Tera, and Nozomi.
