In addition to the fund, Icebreaker also runs a community of more than 1000 founders and pre-founders with 5+ years of relevant industry experience and the will to start, build or join strong tech companies.

Key People

Lasse Lehtinen, CEO & Partner Lasse joined a Helsinki-based startup called Roottori as the first employee in 2006. The company ended up becoming the 2nd fastest growing Finnish tech company in '07 and '08, and then got acquired by Fonecta. Since then, Lasse has been curious about tech and how it changes the world. Before Icebreaker.vc, he was the CEO & Founder at Frontier Accelerator investing in Finnish and Swedish startups.

Aleksi Partanen, Partner Aleksi founded and worked as the CEO of a cloud service broker Nervogrid since 2007. In 2014, the company was acquired by ALSO and he was appointed as Senior Vice President of Digital Services. Ten years of hardcore international deal making, traveling few times around the world and living abroad has made him a curious mind, always keen to build and grow.

Riku Seppälä, Partner Riku has founded two companies in the developer tools space. He has also taken part in over 30 different types of funding rounds on different sides of the table, working at Open Ocean before founding Icebreaker.vc. He is very curious about technologies, society and the future.
