Gregers Kronborg

My big passion is to help tech companies with innovative and disruptive business models ... and scale profitably. The art of such startups is often the business model, go-to-market planning, experimentation, execution and not least perseverance. Building teams, crossing chasms, playing bowling alleys and winning categories are great challenges, and it is very satisfying when succeeding.

More about Gregers Kronborg

My role is typically as board member, consultant, mentor and sounding board to the founder, the CEO, the executive team, and the board/shareholders. This is based on my own experience as serial entrepreneur and experience from several seed, early and growth stage investments covering both buy and sell side M&A and a couple of IPO's.

I serve as board observer of TrustPilot, one of my portfolio companies from my great time as GP with Northzone, the leading tech venture fund in the Nordics.

Based on a MSc. Engineering in Computer Science and a BSc. Business Administration I spend almost 10 years as management consultant and partner. I enjoyed roles as expert evaluator to the EU R&D Framework Programs. Co-founding COCOM, a successful broadband equipment company, was a life changing experience. After selling the company to Cisco Systems, I enjoyed working with the San Jose based networking gear leader. After leaving Cisco, I co-founded what is today the Danish Business Angel Network (DanBAN). Today I serve as board member of DanBAN.

I engage in the public debate in the context of DVCA on growth creation in our old Western European economies. We are challenged and framework conditions are key to economic development.

Most recently I concluded at great experience at the Insead International Directors Program (IDP-12) and earned my certification as a Non-Executive Director.
