Minc is the hub for entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors, owned and funded by the city of Malmö. Their passion is to help more businesses grow faster and smarter. Minc currently hosts over 300 entrepreneurs and as a member of the Fast Track Malmö accelerator, you’ll receive free access to co-working resources designed specifically for tech startups.

They are a joint project by Minc, ALMI Invest, Malmö Startups and Invest in Skåne, all working to improve the startup scene in the south of Sweden.

Two of the most vibrant startup communities in the Nordics within 30 minutes, Malmö Startups and CPHFTW! 

About two years ago, the Copenhagen startup scene united and created the community initiative #CPHFTW, today the scene is growing more than ever. Being the little sister of Copenhagen, Malmö followed and started #MalmoStartups. Today they have two of the most active communities in the Nordics with startup events almost every day and VCs & Business angels flying in a few times every month.

How much do they invest?

A convertible note of $30,000 that may be converted to equity at the next financing round is issued to all startups in each batch. A selection of startups from each batch will get up to $50,000 to accelerate even more.

This is a fast and simple way to get early financing on very favorable terms without the need of pre-mature company valuation and without burdening company finances with early debts. They also help you with legal documents such as term sheets and Shareholders’ agreements.

Practice your pitch at local angel investment events and secure your investment at the Demo Day.

At the end of each batch, they invite top European investors to Malmö for a full day. Startups get to meet and pitch to a group of carefully selected Angels and Venture Capitalists. Meeting 50+ investors from all around Europe is an awesome start to your seed financing!

• You are building something with an international, scalable business model, probably using technology.

• You are looking for a $100-$800k investment within 5 months on our demo day.
